Aug 27: Club General Assembly

Greetings Rotarians and Friends,

Lance Metcalf departed for his Rotary Youth Exchange France today. Au revoir Lance!

The last summer concert is this Friday! These concerts are a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community, raise awareness about Rotary, and recruit new members. If you’d like to lend a hand at our concert table, please reach out to me, and I’ll help you get set up.

Linda Hull is seeking donations for Chuck’s get well bouquet. If you are willing and able to help, please reach out to Linda.

Work at the lab and want to increase your donations? The lab does a 50% match on donations when donated through the lab giving tool.

Yours in Rotary,

Rotary Youth Exchange

Welcome, Phillipine and Sena!

We are thrilled to welcome our two new Rotary Youth Exchange students, Phillipine from France and Sena from Japan. These bright and adventurous young people will spend the next year living with local families, attending our schools, and immersing themselves in our community. We’re excited to share our unique culture and experiences with them, and we know they’ll bring a fresh perspective and energy to our club. Let’s give Phillipine and Sena a warm Los Alamos welcome!

Service Opportunities

Ruidoso Fire Relief

We have received inquiries from clubs and members eager to know how they can contribute. We believe the most effective approach for our district is to send donations directly to the Ruidoso Club’s Foundation. This will enable the Ruidoso Rotarians to allocate funds to where and when they are most needed. Your willingness to help and participate fills us with pride. Please send your donations to the address provided below, and they will be forwarded to the President of the Ruidoso Club.
