26.10 Hannah Nowers on Affordable Housing

Greeting Rotarians and Friends,

Please join us for our weekly lunch meeting today as we welcome Hannah Nowers, who will speak with us about affordable housing. Housing continues to be one of the most important issues facing Los Alamos and communities across New Mexico, and we look forward to hearing Hannah’s perspective and having a good discussion.

Sunny Kellerman will join us on November 17. As always, visit our YouTube channel to view past meetings or tune in live on Google Meet.

Rotarians, Interactarians, and Others Show Up For Purple Pinky and World Polio Day

Purple Pinky was again a success at all five Los Alamos elementary schools. Students and even faculty got in on the action! Thank you to all of our volunteers who showed up to dye students’ pinkies and raise awareness about Rotary’s polio vaccination efforts.

Trick or Treat on Main Street This Friday

Join us in front of CB Fox this Friday 4:00 – 6:00 PM for Trick or Treat on Main Street as we give out treats (and maybe some tricks) to the community. Don’t forget to dress in costume!

We Need Your Help For Meals of Hope November 21

Our annual Meals of Hope meal packing event is November 21 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Crossroads Bible Church. Since we had so many volunteers last year, we upped our order from 25,000 to 40,000 meals this year. That means we really need everybody to show up again this year! If you can’t show up, we could also use your help financially. The meals cost about $8,000 and we didn’t the grant we were expecting this year.
