Please join us for our weekly lunch meeting today, when we will welcome Michael Covert, chief executive officer of Los Alamos Medical Center, as our guest speaker. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the hospital’s work, its role in Los Alamos, and the challenges and opportunities affecting local healthcare.
The meeting begins at noon. Guests are always welcome, so please invite anyone who may be interested. If you can’t make it in person, you can join on Google Meet or watch our past videos on YouTube.
Rotary Oktoberfest October 4
We are celebrating Oktoberfest Sunday, October 4. Thanks to Bathtub Row Brewing for providing the venue and donating $1 to Rotary for every beer sold. Jamie O’Hara will perform from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Please invite your friends and help us show how Rotary contributions support youth, international service, environmental projects, and community programs.
Rotary In Action
Last weekend, Rotary and Interact Clubs participate in the LAHS Homecoming Parade and Clean Up Los Alamos Day. We sorted through 40 pounds of plastic caps to be recycled into community benches through the ABC Promise program.
